The goal of this UX design project was to create a unique and engaging persona to explore how character-driven storytelling can enhance user experience design.
Approach:
Instead of a conventional human persona, I developed Angoori, a lively Thompson seedless grape from Maharashtra, India.
UX Insights:
This persona exercise helped in understanding user needs, motivations, and pain points in a fun and unconventional way. Angoori’s journey, from a plump, juicy grape to her dream of becoming a Sultana raisin, reflects an experience design mindset, where even the smallest details (like water retention and drying conditions) shape the character’s goals and challenges.
Key Takeaways:
Through this project, I aimed to blend humor, relatability, and UX principles to create an engaging narrative. This showcases how personas can be more than just static profiles, and can tell compelling stories that bring design thinking to life.
